Wellness and Health...

     What is wellness?? 

     :-  Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical and mental health outcomes, so that instead of just surviving, you're thriving. To understand the significance of wellness, it's important to understand how it's linked to health.


     Wellness dimensions :-







      
   :-  Wellness is a holistic approach to health that includes many dimensions, including physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Here are some of the dimensions of wellness:
 

 
   (1). Emotional wellness
This involves being aware of your emotions and being able to express and release them appropriately. It also includes being honest with yourself and others. 





 
  (2). Spiritual wellness
This involves having a sense of purpose and meaning in life. It can also involve establishing peace, harmony, and balance in your life. 




  (3). Environmental wellness
This involves feeling safe and comfortable in your physical surroundings, and having a connection with them. It also includes preserving and protecting the environment. 
 





  (4). Intellectual wellness
This involves brain health and growth through thought-provoking mental activities. 
 





  (5). Physical wellness
This involves exercising, eating well, practicing safe sex, and avoiding dangerous activities. 
 






(6). Social wellness
This involves having relationships and connections with others. 
 




Wellness is multidimensional and interactive, meaning that the dimensions influence each other. It's also subjective, based on perceptions. Neglecting any one dimension can negatively impact your overall health, well-being, and quality of life. 
 
   
       How to maintain your health status??


      Here are some ways to maintain your health:


   (1). Exercise
Regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight, build stronger bones, and improve your brain power. 
 





  (2). Get enough sleep
Sleep helps you regulate your weight, manage stress, improve your mood, and sharpen your memory. 
 




   (3). Stay hydrated
Drinking enough water helps regulate your body temperature, lubricate your joints, prevent infections, and deliver nutrients to your cells. 
 



  (4). Quit smoking
Stopping smoking can reduce your risk of tobacco-related diseases, slow the progression of existing diseases, and improve your life expectancy. 


 


  (5). Manage stress
Stress can negatively impact your health, so it's important to manage it. You can try relaxation techniques like meditation, deep breathing, or yoga. 







  (6). Eat nourished food
Limit processed foods and sugar, and eat nourishing foods. 





 
  (7).  Get regular health checkups
Get regular health checkups to help maintain your health.
